About The Huntsville Concert Band

Last Updated on Sunday, 30 September 2018

The Huntsville Concert Band is a community band that performs year-round for residents of the City of Huntsville and the Tennessee Valley. Founded in 1963, the Band regularly appears at Huntsville’s annual Veterans Day and Memorial Day ceremonies, at neighborhood gatherings and senior residences, and at art festivals and other community events.

The Huntsville Concert Band is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a member of the Association of Concert Bands and Arts Huntsville.

The Music Director and all members are volunteers, and membership is open to anyone in the community who plays a band instrument and can participate in rehearsals and performances; no auditions are required. If you would like to join the Band or schedule a performance for your event or organization, please contact us!
