Moonlight Serenade: 55th Anniversary Concert

The Huntsville Concert Band wants to fly you to the moon to celebrate Apollo 50 and the Band's 55th anniversary season. This Moonlight Serenade will feature many familiar lunar and stellar tributes, including tunes by John Williams. The musical trek begins at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 30, in Farley Hall of Latham Methodist Church, 109 Weatherly Road, Huntsville 35803. Admission is free and no tickets are required.  The Yellow Brick Road to Wakanda: A Concert of Popular Movie Music

Follow the yellow brick road from Oz to Wakanda, with stops in Hill Valley, the West Side, and the Pride Lands. This concert of popular movie music begins at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 15, at Latham United Methodist Church, 109 Weatherly Road in Huntsville. The program will feature music from recent Hollywood blockbusters, including Black Panther, The Avengers, and The Lion King, as well as the classic movies Back to the Future, West Side Story, and The Wizard of Oz. Admission is free and no tickets are required.

The Huntsville Concert Band's annual holiday concert, Tuesday, December 3, at 7:00 PM at Latham United Method Church. Selections included traditional favorites and lighter tunes for all ages. Admission free; no tickets required.

Great Band Music on the Air

Great band music is on-the-air in the Metro Hunstville area!

Tune in to WLRH 89.3 FM each Saturday at 1:00 PM for a full hour of great band music as John Hightower hosts Brass, Reeds, and Percussion.
