Participation
Participation in the band is on a voluntary basis. Band members come from all walks of life, from young adults to retirement age, and all levels of musical skill, from student to professional.
Newcomers are always welcome! All that is requested is a commitment to participate in rehearsals and performances and payment of annual dues. No auditions are required.
Rehearsals
Band rehearsals are held year-round on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 PM in the band room of the Sandra Moon Performing Arts Center, 7901 Bailey Cove Road in Huntsville.
Membership Dues
Annual membership dues of $80 are required by the end of January of each year, prorated at $20/quarter for those joining mid-year. Dues for students (middle/high school and college) are $40 annually. A one-time fee of $10 is also required to receive a music folder.
