New Horizons Band of Huntsville

The New Horizons Band of Huntsville is an ensemble sponsored by the Huntsville Concert Band for people who never had the opportunity to play a band instrument and for those who played back in school and want to pick it up again.

The New Horizons Band of Huntsville is led by volunteers from the Huntsville Concert Band who have many years of experience teaching music and directing bands of varying skill levels. Participants in Huntsville’s New Horizons Band will receive instruction at an appropriate level in a low-pressure environment that will foster their musical development as ensemble players.

The New Horizons Band of Huntsville meets on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00 PM in the choir room of the new Sandra Moon Performing Arts Center, 7901 Bailey Cove Road, Huntsville 35802. Enter by the south door of the Sandra Moon Community Complex at the wooden ramp, and look for signs to the choir room.
