New Horizons Band of Huntsville

The New Horizons Band of Huntsville was founded in January 2024 as an ensemble for adults who never had the opportunity to play a band instrument, for those who played long ago and wish to refresh their musical skills, and for those who already play an instrument and wish to learn a different one.

Huntsville’s New Horizons Band is sponsored by the Huntsville Concert Band and led by volunteers from the Concert Band who have many years of experience teaching music and directing bands of varying skill levels. Participants receive instruction at an appropriate level in a low-pressure environment that will foster their musical development as ensemble players.
